This program serves low-income persons and families with disabilities through the Office of Aging and Adult Services (OAAS).
The program's Housing Support Team has the primary goal of helping residents maintain safe, sanitary and secure housing. The team works toward this goal by delivering case management services to help residents outline their goals and the practical steps toward reaching them.
The Housing Support Team supports more than 80 persons with an array of services that include budgeting, employment search, obtaining entitlements, developing social networks and health and mental health referrals. A second team is beginning to reach more eligible persons with housing services. This will bring the total number served to 210.
